Bio: James graduated from Exeter University in 1983 with a degree in Accountancy Studies and then spent the 1980s and 1990's working for a range of international financial institutions. James moved into the SME world in 1998 when Craigie Mains began trading. Since then he has provided advisory services to a wide range of clients and has co-founded Kett Country Cottages Ltd (Holiday Lettings in Norfolk).
He is a founder director of AFP Services Ltd (Outsourced Finance Department) and is Non-Exec Chairman of Housing Hand. James' other directorships have included ilg Digital (Independent Digital Media Agency), Opta Sports Data (Global Sports Data) and Kilpatrick PR Ltd (PR Consultancy); he was also Chairman of KFS Group (Luxury Menswear Retailer).

In 2004 Mark moved into asset management and in 2007, as MD, he led the MBO of the asset manager HIM Capital from Hiscox. After a period of restructuring and rapid growth he negotiated the sale of the business to Polar Capital in 2010. Since then Mark has advised asset management companies across different investment disciplines on all aspects of corporate development including strategic direction, financing and operational management. Mark is a fully qualified Financial Adviser.

He progressed with Carphone in to a number of senior retail sales roles gaining valuable experience in a high growth business, and helped to successfully launch TalkTalk. In July 2006 he moved internally within the group to head up the UK retail sales of Carphone Warehouse PLC own branded networks, achieving record sales levels with newly introduced products. Patrick moved back into retail management within Carphone Warehouse before setting up his own consultancy business, which focuses on operational and team management, and examines how these areas impact on overall corporate strategy.
